There are some changes happening with Credit Unions in the UK. Like in NZ where they formed larger groups the legislation that governs UK credit unions has been changed to allow larger regional credit unions. An example of one of these credit unions is Essex Savers which is open to members across Essex. It has a potential field of membership of approximatey 1.7 million people.
